Economic indicators

Annual values of one World Bank development indicator for one country or aggregate, over a span of at most 70 years between 1960 and the current year (default the latest 10 years). Served by world-bank; use World Bank indicator codes such as NY.GDP.MKTP.CD or SP.POP.TOTL.

Request fields

Field Type Required Description
invocation_id string yes The market’s invocation id: one execution per id and operation, so a retry with the same id is rejected instead of charged twice. 1-128 characters of A-Z a-z 0-9 . _ : -.
provider string yes Provider that serves the request; choose by the coverage described for this tool. One of: world-bank
country string yes ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 or alpha-3 country code or a World Bank aggregate code, for example US, CHN or WLD.
indicator string yes World Bank indicator code, 3-64 characters of letters, digits, dot or underscore, for example NY.GDP.MKTP.CD.
end_year integer no Optional last year, not after the current year; default the current year; the span is at most 70 years.
start_year integer no Optional first year, 1960 or later; default nine years before end_year.
